Are you a bit of a foodie, but crave something just that bit more special then your usual everyday local supermarket products. Do you want the ability to browse new and tasty independent produce as if you were shopping in a farmers market...well look no further as Flavrbox could be just what your looking for.
Flavrbox was created by a team of 4 foodies: Noam, Simon, Seb and Ruben....
They launched on Nov 2011 with 16 producers on board - their target by the end of this year is to increase that to 400 and to sell more than 4000 products.
Flavrbox is basically providing a shopfront community for independents. The customer can browse at their leisure, find out more about each producer, and all purchases delivered straight to your door.
One concept they are currently running is a 'tasting box' scheme. Its a great way for you to discover new products every month. Each monthly box contains 5-6 products along with a story behind each one. The contents each month are a surprise so you have no idea what you are getting......sort of like a beauty box scheme but for food!!
There is a month by month option for £20, a 6 month option for £18 and an annual option for £16 a month. Each box is lovingly packed and comes with free delivery!!
The website is modern, easy to navigate and very easy on the eye with nice clear pictures and full product information.
